Merkle RMG to Provide Save the Children With Donation Processing and Fulfillment Services Support
Merkle Response Management Group (Merkle RMG), a subsidiary of Merkle, the technology-enabled, data-driven performance marketing agency, has been selected by Save the Children to handle donation processing and fulfillment services in support of its direct mail program.
Save the Children is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving children a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm, both in the United States and in more than 120 countries around the world. Services under the three-year contract began in January of this year.
“We went through a careful process to choose a partner with not only the experience and proven ability to process our donations quickly, accurately, securely and efficiently, but also one that had flexible technology to handle reply documents of varying sizes and paper weights—something our prior bank lockbox could not support,” said Elena Consalvo, senior director of mass market fundraising for Save the Children. “Merkle RMG has also helped us improve our gift acknowledgment processes, offering specific suggestions on how to thank donors who gave in response to the recent earthquake in Nepal. They provide the support we need to be more effective in our fundraising efforts, and to build stronger relationships with our donors.”
“Every nonprofit’s success relies on the ability to fundraise effectively and cultivate the loyalty and support of its donors. Through our advanced technology, the sharing of our best-practices and experience, and the consistently high level of service we deliver, we are helping Save the Children raise more money in both the short and long-term to improve the lives of more than 166 million young people worldwide,” said Bill Sayre, president of Merkle RMG. “Merkle RMG is proud to be a service partner supporting Save the Children’s mission to make a better future for the world’s children a reality.”
