Message Agency Joins Forces With Tech Impact, Adds Digital Solutions for Nonprofit Sector
Tech Impact, a nonprofit that uses technology to advance social impact, announced a merger with Message Agency, a digital agency and B Corporation headquartered in Philadelphia that brings innovative digital products and solutions to mission-based organizations, including nonprofits, foundations, higher education, and government. Tech Impact and Message Agency will empower nonprofits to leverage a full range of digital solutions to better serve their communities. The merger positions Message Agency as a division of Tech Impact and is effective August 31, 2023.
“We are thrilled to welcome Message Agency to the Tech Impact family,” said Patrick Callihan, CEO of Tech Impact. “Our organizations have worked closely for over 15 years, leveraging technology to improve our world. Over the course of that time, we have seen firsthand how nonprofits have benefitted from the innovative digital services Message Agency has provided. I’m excited that Tech Impact can now offer those same digital services and more to our clients in the nonprofit sector.”
Marcus Iannozzi, founder and principal of Message Agency, will join Tech Impact as Chief Digital Officer. Message Agency’s 17 employees will transition to Tech Impact as well.
“We are excited to join forces with Tech Impact,” said Marcus Iannozzi. “It enables continued growth and allows us to offer a broader array of technology services to our clients and theirs. It was important to me that the next stage in our agency’s evolution honored our values and supported the commitment of both our staff and clients to social change. We are so well-aligned with Tech Impact in our approach to decision-making, prioritizing nonprofit needs, and keeping our services accessible, it was a logical progression to our current collaboration. Together, we can continue to do well and do good for even more organizations.”
Since its launch in 2007, Message Agency has delivered digital campaigns, brands and visual identities, interactive websites, and complex web applications to redefine how nonprofits, foundations, universities, governments, and mission-driven enterprises use digital solutions to meet the needs of those they serve. ProjectHOME, Juvenile Law Center, Independence Public Media Foundation, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Princeton Symphony Orchestra, Cornell University, Yale, and Girls Who Invest are just a few organizations impacted by their digital innovation. The firm was also named on B Corp’s “Best for the World” list, created on the merits of company diversity and civic engagement. The agency is best known for designing and developing award-winning websites and as the architect and maintainer of the modules integrating Drupal and Salesforce since 2008.
