Momentive Software Acquires Blue Sky eLearn Learning Management Software
Momentive Software, formerly Community Brands and a provider of cloud-based software, services and payment solutions for purpose-driven organizations, announced the acquisition of Blue Sky eLearn, a provider of learning management software and services that empower organizations to advance their missions and create meaningful learning opportunities for professionals. This is Momentive's first acquisition under its new brand identity and reinforces a commitment to investing in technology to drive innovation and create more value for mission-driven customers.
The effective delivery of training and certification is central to the mission of many associations. As associations increasingly seek ways to empower staff and deliver impactful content and a winning learning engagement experience for members, learning management systems now play a more important role than ever in driving mission growth.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison, PLC (Nashville, Tennessee) acted as legal counsel to Momentive Software in the transaction.
