Nature Valley granola bars, a long-standing advocate of the preservation of national parks in the U.S., has announced a partnership with National Park Foundation, according to a press release from the National Park Foundation. The newly established partnership includes a three-year commitment and a donation of up to $3 million from Nature Valley.
Nature Valley is encouraging its customers to participate in public national park volunteer events and additional donations to the National Park Foundation. In addition, the company will also support hikers who are passionate about being out and exploring the outdoors by sharing their individual stories about what nature and national parks mean to them, the release said.
“Nature Valley’s support inspires people to give back to the national treasures we all share and love. The National Park Foundation is thrilled to partner with Nature Valley to raise funds and awareness that will help ensure a bright future for our National Park System.” — Will Shafroth, President of the National Park Foundation
