Nonprofit Finance Fund Awarded $1 Million in Recovery Act Funds to Support Pennsylvania Nonprofits
Funds will Help Nonprofits Better Serve Their Communities During Tough Times PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 13
PHILADELPHIA, October 13, 2009 — Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF) Philadelphia has been awarded $1 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Strengthening Communities Fund to improve the financial health and business acumen of local nonprofit organizations. NFF will provide grants and technical assistance to Southeastern Pennsylvania nonprofits that work directly with community residents to promote economic recovery.
