CHICAGO, April 10, 2009 — In a national survey of CFOs and senior comptrollers conducted by Grant Thornton LLP, the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd, 77 percent say the U.S. economy will remain the same or get worse in the next six months, and 39 percent expect their company’s headcount to decrease.
