Moshe Hecht
Chief Innovation Officer
Charidy.com
Moshe Hecht dedicates his life to advancing philanthropy through the use of technology. He has been a critical part of developing and growing Charidy, a crowdfunding platform that leverages the psychology of giving with offline support and online magic. Hecht mentors organizations throughout the fundraising process and gives equal passion and attention to small organizations and large organizations.
Hecht believes that through the increased use of crowdfunding technology, organizations can usher in an era of people-powered fundraising (a world of unified giving, transparency, leverage and interdependency), which will lead to more people giving more.
“The concept of ‘trickle-up charity,’ which Moshe believes is the master key to advancing the nonprofit arena, will counterintuitively not be led by the gifts of major philanthropists; rather, it will be spearheaded by every-day, modest givers who care passionately for the cause. And this will be accomplished solely through the ever-evolving innovations of technology,” Ariella Shapiro, author at Charidy, said.
