On November 4 and 5, NonProfit PRO is hosting its annual peer-to-peer fundraising conference: Peer to Peer Advanced. Taking place in the heart of Philadelphia, attendees will gain a wealth of knowledge on advanced and innovative peer-to-peer tactics and learn how to strategize for future peer-to-peer programs, learning how to create sustainable programs that will not only engage fundraisers, but retain them, too.
Finding success in peer-to-peer fundraising is all about engagement, innovation and creativity. A new up-and-coming trend in the nonprofit space is livestream fundraising. Livestream fundraising offers an interactive way that supporters can connect with your organization, and raise money, too! At Peer to Peer Advanced, Carla Warner will describe Share Our Strength’s entry into livestream fundraising — opportunities and barriers. Her story will serve to both entice and warn those delving into this type of peer-to-peer fundraising.
Carla serves as the associate director of revenue innovation for Share Our Strength, a national nonprofit that is ending childhood hunger in America through the No Kid Hungry campaign. Working closely with co-founder Debbie Shore, her focus is on generating new and creative fundraising ideas for the organization.
Prior to joining the revenue innovation team, Carla led individual giving and membership fundraising strategy. In her role, she was responsible for acquiring and maintaining single gift and monthly donors.
Working for Share Our Strength for nearly nine years, Carla has helped find new and creative ways to grow the base of supporters for the No Kid Hungry campaign, to include donors, celebrities, sponsors, media and more.
Prior to joining Share Our Strength, Carla was the director of marketing and programs for the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show.
