On November 4 and 5, NonProfit PRO is hosting its annual peer-to-peer fundraising conference: Peer to Peer Advanced. Taking place in the heart of Philadelphia, attendees will gain a wealth of knowledge on advanced and innovative peer-to-peer tactics and learn how to strategize for future peer-to-peer programs, learning how to create sustainable programs that will not only engage fundraisers, but retain them, too.
At Peer to Peer Advanced, Marcie Maxwell is delivering a presentation titled, “Peer-to-Peer: Relationship Campaign or Marketing Campaign?” where she will draw on her deep experience at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Make-A-Wish America to help define the power that drives peer-to-peer campaigns.
Marcie is the director of chapter event fundraising for Make-A-Wish America. In her current role, Marcie’s team works in partnership with chapters to drive revenue growth and donor acquisition through fundraising events, including Walk For Wishes, Kids For Wish Kids, Trailblaze Challenge, galas and other special events.
Marcie began her career working in fundraising for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she launched their national walk program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Louisiana State University and a master’s degree in ethical leadership from Christian Brothers University. She resides in Memphis, Tennessee.
