Proceeds of Dick Vitale's New Book to Benefit Pediatric Cancer Research

Renowned for his passion and enthusiasm for basketball, Vitale brings the same spirit and dedication to the fight against cancer. The Dick Vitale Gala, one of The V Foundation's signature events, annually draws celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment to raise funds and awareness. The 2015 Dick Vitale Gala will be held on Friday, May 15, at the Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota, Florida. The 10th annual event will honor Syracuse University head men's basketball coach Jim Boeheim, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Lovie Smith and Florida State University head football coach Jimbo Fisher.
