Roundup River Ranch Receives $1 Million Grant from Hole in the Wall Camps Foundation
Roundup River Ranch will start construction on 85 acres along the Colorado River east of Glenwood Canyon in Colorado in 2009. The camp will provide children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience camp with a fun, safe and empowering experience, free of charge. The Children’s Hospital of Denver is the founding partner hospital, ensuring that the children will have the on-site medical services necessary to their conditions. The camp will serve children from Colorado as well as Wyoming, Montana, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah and Texas. As a provisional member of The Association of Hole in the Wall Camps, Roundup River Ranch is proud to continue Paul Newman’s dream of providing children with serious illnesses a camping experience. The Hole in the Wall Camps are widely viewed as setting the standard for excellence in the industry. For more information on the camp visit www.roundupriverranch.org or call 970.926.2448.
