Roundup River Ranch Receives $1 Million Grant from Hole in the Wall Camps Foundation
The Association of Hole in the Wall Camps unites the world’s largest family of camps for children with serious and life-threatening medical conditions. Its mission is to serve existing Hole in the Wall Camps and guide the responsible development of new camps and programs – reaching as many children as possible – all free of charge. Through intentional programming and therapeutic recreation, Hole in the Camps and programs are designed to foster self-confidence and independence and enhance coping and resilience. It is committed to empower children to reach beyond the limits of their illnesses and to create lasting and positive impacts in their lives. Today, there are eleven full member camps, eight in various stages of development and five global partnership initiatives. Since the first camp was founded by Paul Newman in 1988, Hole in the Wall Camps and programs have improved the lives of more than 164,500 children.
