ATLANTA- May 29, 2012 – Sage North America announced today the availability of Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting, part of the Sage 50 Accounting 2013 product line. Formerly Sage Peachtree Premium Accounting for Nonprofits, Sage 50 Nonprofit Accountingmarks a new identity as well as a fresh approach to accounting where guidance, intelligence and trusted service and support are built-in with a comprehensive set of management tools.
Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting provides the accounting features along with powerful and flexible tools that provide insights and the control that every nonprofit needs. Nonprofits will benefit from Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting’s strong reporting capabilities, flexible payroll options and in-depth audit trails. Making it easier to handle administrative tasks, Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting gives nonprofits the ability to be more efficient so they focus their efforts on serving the communities and organizations that rely on them for support.
“With fewer employees and fewer financial resources, many nonprofit organizations are finding that they need to do more with less,” said Connie Certusi, executive vice president and general manager, small business accounting solutions, Sage North America. “However, they still have a responsibility to maintain accountability to their donors and Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting 2013 can meet this need. Those nonprofits that spend much of their fundraising efforts in the field will be particularly excited about the new feature that makes it easier for them to accept credit card donations from smartphones or tablets from donors anytime and from anywhere.”
Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting delivers powerful tools that help nonprofits expertly meet financial reporting requirements, manage fundraising and donor outreach, and protect confidential information. Major enhancements in Sage 50 include:
- Mobile donations or payments: Using built-in integration with the new administrative portal for the Sage Exchange payments platform, Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting customers can now accept mobile donations or payments from smartphones or tablets for their fundraising efforts. If potential donors do not have cash on hand, nonprofits can now accept credit cards while in the field. After accepting a payment, the data flows seamlessly into Sage 50 to eliminate data entry, save time and reduce potential errors.
- Gaining visibility into numbers to stay in control and make better decisions: A robust reporting solution that uses real-time data pulled directly from Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting to give organizations easy access and insight to their donation information, Sage 50 Business Intelligence uses the familiar Microsoft® Excel® interface with built-in templates for inventory, sales, purchasing and financial reporting.
- Relevant advice and guidance through Sage Advisor: Sage Advisor helps nonprofits maximize the features in Sage 50 by recognizing usage patterns and intuitively offering brief, personalized “show me how” demos and guided tips and tricks. This empowers users to discover new methods and features to simplify processes, improving their business management efficiencies.
- Trusted and continued service and support with Sage Business Care: Sage 50 includes Sage Business Care Silver for new customers, a premium auto-renewing service and support plan with resources and tools to help businesses maximize their investment for years to come: upgrades and updates, customer support, online training, a dedicated account manager, savings on credit card processing, an HR resource center, and Sage 50 Business Intelligence.
Other new features include improved bank reconciliation, more efficient check printing, and the ability to inactivate multiple vendor records. For more information, please visit Sage50Accounting.com.
Also available in the Sage 50 Accounting 2013 line are industry-specific versions for construction, manufacturers, distributors and accountants, as well as Sage 50 Quantum Accounting 2013 for businesses with more advanced needs.
