Social Solutions and Athena Software are perfectly aligned in purpose, mission and values, with complementary products and solutions, creating a significant opportunity for their clients to increase the positive impact they make in the communities they serve.
Social Solutions and Athena Software share the vision of creating lasting social change for communities through data and analytics and will combine to advance their product platform development for the benefit of clients and end users. The companies will serve clients in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia and New Zealand, with further international expansion planned in the future.

Athena Software, a privately-owned company founded in 2001, provides Penelope, a SaaS solution for human health and social services providers around the world. Social Solutions expects the acquisition to close in 60 days or sooner, pending satisfaction of all relevant and customary terms and conditions, including regulatory clearance under the Investment Canada Act.
