Statlistics welcomes American Chemical Society (ACS) to its roster of chemical and engineer-related lists.
ACS is a congressionally chartered independent membership organization which represents chemists, chemical engineers, R&D specialists, technicians, corporate managers, technical managers, and production and quality-control managers worldwide. Locally, ACS has 189 chapters throughout the United States giving members the opportunity to participate in programs near their homes that can enhance their professional development. Nationally, members are offered the opportunity to participate in 33 specialty divisions, ranging from food and agriculture to industrial and engineering chemistry. Globally, ACS’s international members represent more than 100 countries and contribute more than 60 percent of the materials covered in their publications.
The 118,653 ACS members are highly educated with more than 70 percent holding either a master’s degree or Ph.D. Members take pride in staying abreast of the complex events and issues that affect all the chemical fields, including the latest scientific and technical information. ACS is selectable by publication, field of research, highest degree, industry, job title, membership type and technical division.
