Deadline Today! Tell Us About a Crazy Fundraising Idea That Actually Worked
Hey fundraisers, have you ever had an idea for a direct mail piece, an email subject line, a special event, a premium/freemium or anything else that was so crazy there's no way it should work—only it did? Or maybe there's something you want to try, but it's almost too outside the box?
If so, we want to hear from you!
Email editor Sean Norris at snorris@napco.com with the subject line "Outside the Box" and include a description of the campaign (name, goal, how it came to be, etc.) and the results, and tell us what made it crazy and why it was successful. Images or links to online materials are great, too, so send away!
The best entries will be selected to appear in the February issue of NonProfit PRO magazine and in an article on this website. Entry details below:
- 250-500 words per entry
- Deadline: TODAY! Monday, Jan. 30
- Please include your name and title, your organization's name, the organization the campaign was for (if applicable) and any other relevant information
- If it's an idea you want to try but haven't yet—describe it in detail: pros, cons, why you think it'd work and why you haven't done it yet
There is no fee—we just want to hear some cool stories. The deadline isn't far away, so don't wait! We're looking forward to hearing your best stuff.
