Terrie Temkin, Ph.D. Joins as Co-Editor of CharityChannels Nonprofit Boards and Governance Review
Miami, FL, November 10, 2009 — Terrie Temkin, Ph.D., a founding principal of CoreStrategies for Nonprofits, Inc., has joined with veteran editor Jane Garthson to serve as co-editor of CharityChannel’s Nonprofit Boards and Governance Review (NBGR). NBGR is known for its practical, down-to-earth treatment of real-world challenges facing nonprofit boards and senior managers. Articles, which are written by CharityChannel colleagues, are delivered by email to CharityChannel subscribers who opt to receive them.
Temkin is an acknowledged thought leader in the areas of governance, board development and planning. An award winning speaker, engaging group facilitator and a prolific writer, she brings more than 30 years of nonprofit management, organizational communication and adult education experience to her work.

For five years she authored “On Nonprofits” for the Miami Herald. She continues to write the column for Philanthropy Journal and the CoreStrategies on Nonprofits Blog.
