The Water4 Foundation Launches World Water Day Campaign

Starting in 1993, World Water Day has focused attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. One in eight people across the globe lack access to clean water and 4,100 children die each day from problems related to unclean drinking water, making the issue one of the world’s leading humanitarian crises. Furthermore, drought still ranks as the single most common cause of severe food shortages in developing countries.
