Third Sector New England Hosts First-Ever Equity Conference

Third Sector New England, Inc. (TSNE) is excited to announce its inaugural conference, Equity Forward: Creating a Just World Together. This one-day, in-person conference will take place on March 20, 2025, at UMASS Boston. The Equity Forward conference will bring together community leaders from nonprofit, government, corporate, and philanthropic sectors to share, learn, and amplify strategies for embedding equity and justice into all facets of organizational life.

For more than six decades, TSNE has been committed to creating a more just society by increasing the capacity of mission-driven nonprofit organizations to serve those most in need. “There’s no better time than on the 65th anniversary of TSNE’s work, to double-down on our commitment and convene social sector leaders, change-makers, and members of the community to envision and create pathways toward creating a truly equitable society together” says Elaine Ng, President and CEO of TSNE.

Equity Forward will cover a wide range of topics, including practical strategies for building diverse and inclusive teams, self-care practices for sustainable leadership, and innovations in equitable philanthropy. Each session will offer concrete tools and insights that participants can bring back to their own communities and organizations.

With the registration fee capped at $50 to increase accessibility, TSNE is committed to making this event an inclusive opportunity for all who share a dedication to justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
