Mailers will learn if their direct mail or catalogs are received torn, creased, smudged, wrinkled, stained or with water damage; whether there are printing errors or problems with ink jetting and addressing and if contents are missing after mail is opened.
"A recent project involving a national catalog brand showed that 23 percent of the catalogs received by our field agents arrived in poor condition" says Paul Ercolino, president of US Monitor. "The cataloger was able to work with its printer and determined the weight of the paper being used was the issue and made the necessary adjustments to improve the customer experience."
