WealthEngine Strengthens Management Team
BETHESDA, Md., June 8, 2009 — WealthEngine, a leading provider of sophisticated prospect research and analytics for non-profit organizations and financial services firms, announced today that four new sales and marketing professionals have joined the firm's senior management team. The new executives bring along valuable sales and marketing experience, including a deep knowledge of the financial services and for profit markets.
Joining WealthEngine as head of sales, marketing and business development, Dan Concannon brings a keen focus on revenue growth, profitability, product development and customer acquisition and retention. Prior to joining WealthEngine, Mr. Concannon led worldwide sales, marketing and business development for Institutional Shareholder Services, now part of publicly-traded RiskMetrics Group, where he grew sales from $30 million to $110 million and built a global sales organization with local presence in major financial centers around the world. Mr. Concannon also drove similar revenue growth during his 7-year tenure in sales at Primark Corporation, a financial data provider that was ultimately sold to Thomson Corporation.
Splitting the country in half, Jeff Lubitz will lead financial services sales in the Eastern region while James Dean will do the same for WealthEngine in the Western region. Combined, the two have more than 30 years of experience in selling research and database products and services to financial institutions and corporations.
Mr. Lubitz and Mr. Dean will manage a team of WealthEngine sales professionals focused on serving the research and prospecting needs of financial institutions.
Finally, Cheryl Gustitus has joined WealthEngine to head marketing and communications. Ms. Gustitus brings 18 years of experience in the field having spent the last seven heading marketing, communications and investor relations for New York-based RiskMetrics Group where she helped to lead the company through several acquisitions and its initial public offering. Beginning her career at premier mutual fund companies T. Rowe Price and Calvert Group, then heading marketing for Primark Corporation, Ms. Gustitus possesses a deep understanding of the research and information tools financial professionals need.
"WealthEngine's reputation for sophisticated prospect research and analytics is unmatched and our products are well-respected in both the non-profit and for-profit markets," said Tony Glowacki, the firm's chief executive officer. "We're now in a great position to strengthen our senior management team, align our business objectives with our core competencies and, expand into new and complementary markets."
