World Vision Selects Ryan Partnership Chicago to Develop Its U.S. Promotional Marketing Strategy
Press Release (July 27, 2011) — World Vision, one the largest relief and development organizations in the world, has selected Ryan Partnership Chicago from a pool of best-in-class Shopper and Promotional Marketing agencies to develop its U.S promotional strategy.
Christine Nardi, Ryan Chicago Group President, explained that Ryan Partnership Chicago was awarded this business to improve upon the current donor acquisition promotional marketing strategy for World Vision.
"We are proud and honored to be chosen by this preeminent humanitarian organization, which has helped better the world for many years," Nardi said. "Our team will deliver strategic thought leadership and creative support of World Vision's efforts to help impoverished communities across the globe. The synergies between our two businesses should materialize in extraordinarily innovative promotional marketing work."
World Vision’s U.S. headquarters is near Seattle in Federal Way, Washington. More than 60 years ago, Dr. Bob Pierce began World Vision to help children orphaned during the Korean War. To provide long-term, continuing care for children in crisis, World Vision developed its first child sponsorship program in Korea in 1953. Today, World Vision works to build a better world for children in nearly 100 countries, joining with local people to break the cycle of poverty for children and families in need through access to clean water, nutritious food, education, health care, and economic opportunities.
