Wycliffe Bible Translators Honored by GuideStar for Gold Level Transparency
Wycliffe Bible Translators USA, Orlando, Fla., the largest Scripture translation organization in the world, has been identified as a GuideStar Exchange Gold-level participant in recognition of Wycliffe's commitment to data transparency, the organization announced.
"Without the generous support of individuals and organizations around the world, Wycliffe would be unable to translate Scripture for those without access to it in the language they know best," said Bob Creson, president and CEO of Wycliffe USA. "They entrust us with the resources to fulfill our mission, and we take seriously our responsibility to steward those funds well. Our participation in the GuideStar Exchange helps ensure transparency and accountability."
GuideStar is an independent organization that provides information on more than 1.8 million IRS-recognized nonprofits. According to GuideStar's website, the GuideStar Exchange allows nonprofits to regularly update key information directly to GuideStar's online platform. It provides richer and broader information about their programs, impact, finances, people and more.
