Board members are a crucial part of any nonprofit organization's success. When they "get it," it makes for a fabulous relationship with the development team that benefits the organization and, ultimately, its cause. But when they don't … well, it ain't pretty.
For this week's Hump Day Hullabaloo, we've asked some nonprofit fundraisers to share some of their worst experiences with board members, and re-enacted them. We don't have any answers about how to deal with these somewhat short-sighted members, so feel free to chime in. Let us know if you've faced these folks — and how you handled it.
