Fidelity Charitable distributed $11.2 billion in donor-recommended grants in 2022, nearly $1 billion more than in the previous year, according to its 2023 Giving Report.

National Philanthropic Trust (NPT) granted $6.06 billion on behalf of its donors in 2022, representing an increase of 18% in dollars granted compared to 2021 and an increase of 263% compared to pre-pandemic giving in 2019.

Philanthropy Roundtable has opened nominations for its 2023 Simon-DeVos Prize for Philanthropic Leadership. Each year, the Prize honors a living philanthropist who has shown exemplary leadership through charitable giving with a $200,000 award that is payable to the winner’s charitable organization of choice.  

The Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Award Program, established by the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation (BMSF), announced that Amgen has committed to contribute $8 million over the next four years. This contribution will enable the program to reach additional physicians and medical students.
