Vanguard Charitable Forecasts Another Record Giving Year

Vanguard Charitable announced that granting increased 14% over the first half of 2022, totaling a record of $952 million. Donors distributed 83,838 grants with an average grant amount of $11,354, a 7% and 6% increase, respectively, compared to the first half of 2021.

DAF Giving Remains Strong Despite Economy

The largest donor-advised fund announced its grantmaking increased 11% in the first half of 2022. With $4.8 billion already given through June of this year, Fidelity Charitable is on pace to surpass $11 million in grants this year. The rise comes after a record $10.3 billion for the grantmaker in 2021. 

TD Launches Fifth TD Ready Challenge Focusing Solutions for Climate Change

TD announced that applications are now open for the 2022 TD Ready Challenge. This year, TD is seeking to support eligible nonprofit and charitable organizations that are focused on solutions to assist people and communities who may be negatively impacted by climate change and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
