The Blackbaud Index of Charitable Giving reported that charitable giving increased 0.2 percent for the three months ending July 2012 as compared to the same period in 2011. The Blackbaud Index of Online Giving, comprised of actual revenue data from 2,178 nonprofits representing $445 million in yearly online giving, reported that online giving rose 5.3 percent for the three months ending July 2012 as compared to the same period in 2011.
