A majority of charities surveyed saw their fundraising revenue remain stable or increase last year, according to the 2010 Year-End Survey of the Nonprofit Research Collaborative (NRC), a coalition of six fundraising and philanthropic organizations. The survey also showed that strong fundraising results were more likely when organizations invested resources in fundraising staff and infrastructure, including volunteer management.
Blackbaud has entered into a Strategic Partnership agreement with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the largest community of fundraising professionals in the world. As a strategic partner, Blackbaud will continue its work with AFP supporting educational opportunities for fundraising professionals.
Blackbaud announced it has entered into an agreement with O-matic Software to market Import-O-Matic™, an O-matic Software plug-in that greatly expands the data import capabilities of Blackbaud’s The Raiser’s Edge® fundraising software. The advanced importing features of Import-O-Matic help streamline data processing by increasing data entry efficiency and eliminating most of the manual steps required for data entry.
Blackbaud today announced the release of two groundbreaking research studies at the Run Walk Ride 2011 Fundraising Conference at the Intercontinental Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta. The first studyrevealed the results of their first annual “Peer-to-Peer Event Fundraising Consumer Survey.”
The second study reported on the findings of Blackbaud’s first annual “donorCentrics Event Benchmarking Summary,” a study based on in-depth analysis of fundraising performance data from six top nonprofit organizations from 2007 through 2009.
It took almost a decade for donors to trust Donate Now technology. Blackbaud announced that NOZA Philanthropy Data (NOZA) is now available directly to Canadian subscribers via NOZAsearch.ca. NOZA is the world’s largest searchable database of charitable donations with more than 60 million American and Canadian gift records. NOZA is a service of Target Analytics™, a Blackbaud company.
Blackbaud announced the release of “Connecting Online Advocacy and Fundraising”, a white paper focused on optimizing advocacy appeals that lead to increased response rates and fundraising.
“The integration of advocacy and fundraising has proven successful with many organizations,” said Daigneault co-author Steve Daigneault of M+R Strategic Services. “In fact, advocates are seven-times more likely to give as compared to non-advocates.”
Blackbaud announced the release of its 2010 Online Giving Report, which provides the most comprehensive review of online giving trends currently available in the nonprofit sector. The report found that online giving grew 35 percent in 2010 and accounted for 8 percent of all fundraising.
Blackbaud today announced that three of the leading arts and cultural membership associations; American Association of Museums (AAM), Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), and American Public Gardens Association (APGA), will partner with Blackbaud to make technology more accessible for their members.
