Charleston, S.C. (May 7, 2012) - Blackbaud today announced that it has completed its acquisition of Convio, a leading provider of on-demand constituent engagement solutions. Under the terms of the merger agreement, Blackbaud paid an aggregate purchase price of approximately $325 million. Blackbaud financed the deal through a combination of cash and borrowings from its credit facility.

Charleston, S.C. (April 18, 2012) - Blackbaud today announced the availability of the 2011 Index of Higher Education Fundraising Performance, a report that provides a summary of Key Performance Indicators of annual funds at more than 100 public and private institutions.
The Blackbaud Index of Charitable Giving, a broad-based fundraising index that reports overall giving trends of 2,515 US-based nonprofit organizations representing $7.4 billion in yearly giving on a monthly basis, today reported that charitable giving rose 5 percent for the three months ending February 2012 as compared to the same period in 2011.
Blackbaud, Inc. and TechSoup today announced that they are expanding their existing partnership through new webinars, donations and discounts, and with an additional focus on the technology needs of small nonprofits. The organizations launched a survey at www.blackbaud.com/techsurvey seeking feedback from small nonprofits with annual revenues of less than $1 million on their technology needs. The survey will remain open until April 25 and results will be available this summer.
