Koh's Department Stores announced an $800,000 donation to Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee to ensure that the emergency need for food is met now. The donation will help provide appropriate food supplies throughout the year for the approximately 35,000 people that rely on food pantries and soup kitchens in the area each month.
Kohl's Department Stores announced the launch of the "Love to Give, Happy to Save" Facebook contest where customers can help decide how to allocate $500,000 from Kohl's to Feeding America and Toys for Tots.
During the contest, 600 participants will win gift cards and also give $500 from Kohl's to the organizations, with the chance to win an additional $2,500 gift card and allocate a $25,000 donation to either charity.

Through Kohl's associate volunteer program, A-Team, Kohl's volunteers will support youth-serving nonprofit organizations by participating in an environmentally-based activity, and Kohl's will match those efforts with corporate grants. Through this initiative, Kohl's will donate $2 million in grants to nonprofits nationwide.
