Getting the right mix of technology is the key to fundraising success. There are CRMs, donation processing, email communications, event management, and more — and you might need a different platform for each. However, as long as they work together, that’s not a bad thing.

“Peer-to-peer and straight donations and event management and things like that — they’re all in the same vertical,” Salvatore Salpietro, chief partnership officer at Fundraise Up. “They all take money, but they’re very different in the architecture and in the needs. And it’s really hard, I think, for one platform to deliver beyond-exceptional results on all of those things.”

In this episode of The NonProfit Voice Tech Series, Salpietro and Glen Peck, senior vice president of technology and business intelligence at the Lustgarten Foundation, join Mark Becker, founding partner of Cathexis Partners and editorial advisory board member of NonProfit PRO, to share their insights into why nonprofits should update their technology stacks.

With missions to cure cancer, feed the hungry, or save puppies, investing in technology isn’t always top of mind for nonprofits, but listen to find out why the pain of transitioning to the best platforms for your organization will be worth it in the end.
