Just a short blog this week, because I know you’re very busy. The biggest giving month of the year is just around the corner!
Just a few more emails. Just a few more thank you letters. Just a few more… (you fill in the blanks). Just a few more weeks, and then the weirdest of weird years is over.
I’m amazed at the generosity of donors. I’ve seen and heard tremendous stories of donors coming to the table in the past few months: $2,000 when they normally give $100; $60,000 when they normally give $1,000; monthly donors calling the organization to upgrade their gifts; new donors joining as monthly.
I’m also amazed at the resilience of fundraisers. At YOU.
Because you keep on trucking. You keep on doing. You keep on writing and analyzing. Because it matters! It matters to the children. It matters to the animals. It matters to the clients and all the people you serve.
So keep up the good work. You rock! Thank you for all you do.
Happy Thanksgiving!
